The Emilia Romagna Region has entered into an agreement with INAIL (02/04/2013) in order to expedite the recovery of workers injured in workplace accidents. According to this agreement, the various regional branches of INAIL are authorized to prescribe LEA benefits, with costs covered by the National Health Service, and LIA benefits, with costs covered by INAIL. In this context, the regional branch of INAIL has intended to establish agreements with thermal spas and polyclinics in Emilia Romagna that are capable of providing the above-mentioned rehabilitative treatments.

At present, the Polyclinic also allows specialized visits and diagnostic investigations under the freelance regime, so a medical prescription is not required. The confirmation of Regional Accreditation, along with the possibility of new contracts with Health Authorities, will allow for the execution of specialized visits and diagnostic investigations related to the branches covered by the Polyclinic, through a Medical Prescription.
